Sadly, public servants often serve their own interests at the expense of the people who elected them. We expect elected representatives to honor state and federal constitutions as a core principle of our republic.
Americans who formerly had little interest now actively involve themselves in the political process. My interest was aroused after the 2020 presidential election, when I saw corruption reach an unprecedented level.
During the alleged pandemic, Governor Mike DeWine suspended the Ohio Constitution, canceled a primary election, and shut down businesses and public events across the state. The corruption was obvious given that liquor stores, big box stores like Target and Walmart, and organizations like Planned Parenthood were allowed to stay open while Mom and Pop stores and churches were shut down. In the end, two trillion dollars were transferred from the middle class to the ultra-wealthy, minority businesses were devastated, and our children lost a year of education.
Mike DeWine mandated wearing ineffective surgical masks as protection from an aerosol based virus and promoted experimental vaccines. Ohio citizens complied, not having recognized tyranny in action. This can never be allowed to happen again.
Who I support and why
On January 17, 2024, I received the following text message from Jessica Franz. Mrs. Franz is the incumbent Republican State Central Committee representative for District Five, which includes Miamisburg. After reading this I knew I needed to get involved.
I have had to talk myself into staying in the race. Six of my conservative colleagues have already withdrawn from the race or decided they weren't running again. Their opponents were all handpicked by the establishment and will be well-funded. I just learned today from inside sources that the ORP Chairman is having his staff members make calls for my opponent at the request of the Husted team. I expect a difficult, uphill battle.
Jessica Franz for Republican State Central Committee District 5
The Ohio Republican State Central Committee is the governing organization of the Party in our state. Voters in each Ohio senate district elect one man and one woman to represent them. Due to recent redistricting, Miamisburg is now in District 5; and Jessica Franz is one of your two elected representatives.
Mrs. Franz has served in multiple offices. She was on the board of directors for Ohio Stands Up; she was elected to the Miami County Republican Central Committee; she represented Bethel School District as a school board member; and she currently represents you (District 5) on the Ohio Republican State Central Committee.

Robert Hanseman for Court of Appeals
Robert Hanseman understands the US Constitution. Robert is concerned that the safeguards that were put in place to protect the rights of the citizens are being eroded. Government must protect the people and be as unintrusive as possible.

His opponent Chris Epley already has a seat on the court but opposes Robert Hanseman so that he can serve in court another two years as part of his retirement plan.

Missy Mae Walters for Republican State Central Committee District 6
I learned that Missy Mae was running for the Republican State Central Committee District six when I viewed my March 19th sample ballot. Missy had a friend who needed an organ donation and did not get it and ended up passing away. She had a local representative that was very involved in getting organ donations on drivers licenses and giving people the option of giving that as a donation. She started walking precincts to support him and saw the ability for how you get people elected to office and the power they have to affect your every day life.

JORDAN WORTHAM running for MONTGOMERY COUNTY COMMISSIONER
Jordan Wortham was preliminarily declared the winner of the 2022 County Commissioner race where he competed against Carolyn Rice. However, he was no longer the winner once the mail in ballots counted 20 days latter.
Jordan succeeded in winning the 2022 county commissioner race (prior to counting all the mail in ballots 20 days later) by vigorously campaigning throughout the entire county, Jordan has the drive to win and bring a new perspective to the county.

Why I do not support Matt Dolan for US Senate
I talked to Matt Dolan at an event in Springboro Ohio about my reservations with our government's support of the ongoing conflict in Ukraine. and his response was "I will have to dis-agree with you on this one, we need to support Ukraine "
My question Matt Dolan was what does "we need to support Ukrain " mean?
Historically, Ukraine was an ally of Russia and the eastern part of Ukraine is Russian.
In 2014 the West led by the United States interfered with the Ukrainian election and helped overthrow the Ukrainian government during the "Revolution of Dignity". (Read chapter nine of John Solomon's book Fallout Nuclear Bribes, Russian Spies, and the Washington Lies That Enriched the Clinton and Biden Dynasties to learn more)
This led to the War in Donbas began in Donetsk, Luhansk and Oblasts of Ukraine involving the Russian military. The war continued until 24 February 2022, when Russia launched a major invasion of much of the country.
As a result of these events there are more than 200,000 Russians and Ukrainians dead, Ukraine has been devastated, many in Africa are starving due to the lost of Ukrainian crops, US weapons stockpiles are depleted, and there are more people at our southern border trying to illegally enter our country illegally.
So does encouraging dissension in a sovereign country, interfering in their elections leading to decade long war that devastates Ukraine leading to the deaths of 100s of thousands of people constitute supporting Ukraine?
I do not think so and that is why I have issues with supporting Matt Dolan for United States Sente.
