On Thursday April 18, 2024 the Miamisburg School Board will be asked by the school administration to approve the following Instructional Material without review.
Is the book "Freedom on My Mind-A History of African Americans with Documents, Third Edition" race based?
Is the school administration wanting the school board to rubber stamp their decisions? Is this book something we want our children studying? Is this material appropriate? How does the school board make a decision without adequate time for review?

Is the slave trade where this books starts? Is this yet another book that promotes concepts of critical race theory like the Equity Fellows program the district purchased? The race based conference voice4Eqity conference trip that was cancelled?
