You need to know that Diversity Equity and Inclusion is a major push of the current administration and their blueprint is available on the White House website where they proudly proclaim "Advancing Equity and Racial Justice Through the Federal Government".
Equity
Equity means equal outcomes and caries the baggage of Critical Race Theory. That is not what has made America great. America is great because of Equality where every person has the potential to be whatever they choose to be and that is what makes America strong. The book Think and Grow Rich explains that and imagine a world were students were required to study this book.
Racial / Social Justice
Racial / Social Justice means that we do not base justice on the law but consideration is given to an individuals race or some other identifiable feature. Under Racial / Social Justice we are all either victims or oppressors. The victims are told that they are not good enough to compete against the oppressors and the oppressors are told that they do not deserve what they have. Racial / Social Justice is Marxism has the ability to unravel a nation and create dissention. This has no place in America.
PRIDE
The White House has chosen to celebrate dysfunction in America. In America as citizens we have the right to life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness, it does not mean that we should celebrate destructive dysfunction. These practices cause destruction in people's lives and should not be encouraged.
Title lX Changes
The administration has moved to revise Title IX regulations allowing men and women can be recognized as the other and protected under the law. This is especially devastating to women destroying title IX protections. As of April 6, 2023 the administration is taking action to block legislation that would protect women's sports.
Under the proposed regulation, schools would not be permitted to adopt or apply a one-size-fits-all policy that categorically bans transgender students from participating on teams consistent with their gender identity.
What Does This Mean For Our Schools?
Last summer and into the fall I have been warning the Miamisburg School district about Equity, Diversity and Inclusion through email, speaking and buying them books. I bought them the books Irreversible Damage by Abigail Shirer, American Marxism by Mark Levin and Think and Grow Rich by Neapolitan Hill.
How did the district responded
In September 2022 the district spent $40,000 on a program called Equity Fellows. Based on the power point slides presented at the May school board meeting Equity Fellow includes:
Monitoring achievement and suspension data broken down by race
Social construct of race
Hatred or conflict based on race
An equitable educators building a new educational system
THIS PROGRAM SHOULD HAVE NO PLACE IN OUR SCHOOLS!
The revelation that the district spent $40,000 on the Equity Fellows program was discovered through a public records request after learning about the districts association with voice4equity. The Voice4Equity website showed that this organization promotes the concepts of systemic bias, social justice, systemic oppression and distorting history. Voice4Equity is supported by the Biden Administrations push for equity demonstrated by the attendance of the White House Senior Advisor on Equity. Monique Toussaint.
